David Drogin is Assistant Chair of the History of Art Department at the State University of New York, F.I.T. and is also a regular lecturer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University with a specialization in Italian Renaissance art. In addition to work in his field, he has published on modern and contemporary art in Art on Paper, Artforum, and various online journals.
