GEOFFREY BATCHEN is a Professor of
Art History at CUNY‘s Graduate Center and has taught at the
University of New Mexico and the University of California, San
Diego. He is the author of the books Burning with Desire: The
Conception of Photography; Each Wild Idea: Writing,
Photography, History; and Forget Me Not: Photography and
Remembrance, the latter of which accompanied his exhibition of
vernacular photographs for the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, a show
which toured to the National Museum of Iceland; the National Museum of
Photography, Film and Television in the UK; and the International
Center of Photography in New York. He holds a PhD from the University
of Sydney.

LIAM CONSIDINE is a PhD
candidate in post-war art at NYU‘s Institute of Fine Arts. This
past year, he was named Director‘s Fellow at the Institute and
also held a Helena Rubenstein Curatorial Internship at the Museum of
Modern Art. Considine recently presented the paper “Language on
Holiday: Ruscha and Process” at the University of California,
Irvine. He holds a BA in Art History from NYU and an MA in Art
History from the Institute of Fine Arts.

CRAIG HOUSER teaches at Parsons
New School for Design and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. He writes
regularly for Flash Art, Art Nexus, and ArtsHub
and has served as Assistant Curator of the Guggenheim Museum and
Editor of the College Art Association‘s Art Journal. He has
also been a Helena Rubinstein Curatorial Fellow at the Whitney Museum
of American Art. Houser holds a BA from Carleton College, an MA from
Hunter College, and an MPhil from CUNY‘s Graduate
Center.

MIRIAM KATZ is an editorial
researcher and web writer for Artforum. She is a contributing editor
for MUSEO and an independent curator, with an upcoming exhibition
titled “Secret Canadians” at MC Gallery. She recently
curated a series of studio visits for Columbia College Young Alumni
with artists Dana Schutz and Mika Rottenberg. Katz holds a BA in
Comparative Literature from Barnard College.

NELL McCLISTER was until this
fall Senior Editor at BOMB, where she is now Editor at
Large. She is also a frequent contributor to Artforum, where she
previously worked as Reviews Editor. She holds a BA in Philosophy from
Vassar College and an MFA in Painting and an MS in Art History from
Pratt Institute.

ANNA MECUGNI was a member of
Robert Storr‘s curatorial team for the 2007 Venice Biennale and
led a video documentation initiative for the Biennale‘s Historic
Archives of Contemporary Arts in collaboration with the
Università di Venezia. She teaches courses at the Museum of
Modern Art. Mecugni holds a BA from the Unviersità di Bologna
and is at work on a dissertation on Transavanguardia at CUNY‘s
Graduate Center.

RICHARD TURNBULL is the Chair of
the Art History department at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He
also teaches at the Museum of Modern Art and Columbia University.
Turnbull has published articles on diverse subjects ranging form
Turkish tomb-complex wall paintings and mosques to the work of
photographer Luke Smalley. He has written Pop music criticism for the
Village Voice and Praxis. Turnbull holds a BA from
Cornell University and a PhD from NYU‘s Institute of Fine
Art.

ALTHEA VIAFORA-KRESS is an art
consultant and commentator who hosts and produces the
Collectors‘ Forum show for WPS1 Art Radio. She also produces
and conducts interviews for Vernissage Art TV and has recently
lectured on collecting at the Sterling and Francine Clark Institute.
Viafora-Kress ran the Althea Viafora Gallery which launched the
careers of Matthew Barney, Elizabeth Peyton, and others.
Viafora-Kress holds a BA from Columbia University. Her website is

PETER ZUSPAN is a founding
principal of the architecture firm Bureau V [www.bureauv.com]. He has
worked as a new media specialist and lead designer at Diller Scofidio
+ Renfro, and his collaborative work has been exhibited and performed
at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian Institute, the
Zentrum für Kunst und Mediatechnologie, the National Design
Museum, and the Musée d‘Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
He teaches at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design and
Columbia University. Zuspan holds a BA and an MArch from Columbia
University.
